The visit, which Lin pointed out also marks the 55th anniversary of Eswatini's independence and the 55th birthday of King Mswati, is intended to demonstrate the importance that Taiwan places on its staunch diplomatic allies. The theme will be “Celebrating Enduring Friendship, Advancing Sustainable Cooperation”, in correspondence with Tsai's two major goals for the tour.
